I just finished first volume/arc of Sword Art Online, pretty good read. The protagonist is very likable, he isn't that manly or badass, but he does have some backbone. Hoping for an anime soon.
Also, I heard that in the 3rd volume, Kirito dives in to another different game. Anyone can tell me the story behind it and what's the game about?

OK /a/, I have to ask you a favour. Y'see, I need a recommendation thread, pure and simple. But before you all instaspam the "Boku no Pico" response, I know what to do usually, but this time the recommendation charts aren't working too well.

Essentially, what I'm looking for is something like an anime Skins. Whether you liked the show or not (Personally I thought it all went downhill fairly fast), it was refreshing because it was in someway reminiscent of what the later years of High School really are, even if it is exaggerated. There's no girls blushing when asked to hold hands and all that. Sex isn't entirely uncommon, and underage drinking is the rule, if regretted afterwards sometimes.

I realise the Japanese have a different culture, but is there anything someway like this that isn't by definition dark and edgy (like School Days and stuff)? Even Uni age, doesn't matter, just something!
