>>69227056There should be an honorable mention for Tiger & Bunny for 2011. It did something we were familiar with while also trying to be original, and exploited an often discarded aspect of anime that could lead to interesting results for the anime industry.
Also, for 2012, I'll have to respectfully disagree. Lupin III turned out to be prety underwhelming once we were half-way through, and was easily forgotten.
So far, the only serious contenders for 2012 are Uchuu Kyoudai, Jinrui(unlikely though, as the quality seems to have already significantly dropped), and the upcoming JJBA anime (will really depend on how it turns out, and sadly I'm already pretty certain it'll flop, as much as I like JJBA).
Other candidates could be K and From the New World, but we'll have to wait for Fall for that.
