I've been meaning to stream the games for a while now but everywhere I was reading about it said they didn't work. I didn't want to use my copies either as my PS3 doesn't have the backwards compatibility and my PS2's cables don't reach my PC so it's a pain to stream anything from it. That and I don't want to keep using my discs as they are pretty old as it is and I've played the three basically on an annual basis, so I want to avoid making them useless.

I guess I'll have to look into it again then if that's the case though.

You need to have a decent rig to play it though.

I tried Xenosaga on my shitty Athlon X4 and it was laggy as hell, especially the episode 2 for unknown reason.

You just need the correct homebrew software to run the burned disc. Too lazy to look up the name, but I have done it, myself. In fact, this was the game that made me install the thing in the first place.

It seems like Kagura shares the same memories with Amata until they got separated. That would explain why he knows that Alicia is his mother, and would make sense that he knows who she is but doesn't know her current whereabouts.

But yeah, EVOL was doomed from the beginning. We were foolish to believe this was going to end in a different way. I'm being too optimistic but I'd like them to do a revision on this.

I think a revision would need to be out of Kawamori's hands imo because he apparently has no idea how some of his characters and story elements come across (Perception of Mikono and swearing Apollo = Dog and Apollonius = Fudo). Basically, an entirely different writing and creative direction staff.

So yeah, pretty unlikely unless you got someone to take an artist mentality to EVOL instead of making a profitable anime.

I think that's the problem. They were so focused on doing something NEW and ~*REFRESHING*~ that they totally forgot that something new =/= something entertaining. Sometimes overused tropes are better than risking good character and plot for the sake of being innovative.

I don't know that much japanese, certainly not enough to "take on everything because it sounds cool". Right now i've just been learning what I can and working with another imas translator together to help improve. I'm just saying that'd i'd be interested in translating talk tracks in the future.

Well, you're translating by ear, so I suppose you don't have to deal with kanji and so forth. Some of them can be quite long though.
