Why is Japan so shit compared to glorious America?

I've only been around for the last 2 translations. How long does the person doing Aku No Hana take to translate a couple chapters and upload them?

I dont watch anime or manga regularly. Just a /sp/artan who wants more suicidal teenagers.

Smile Precure upcoming episodes:
20: Candy takes a picture of Miyuki and Akane with a camera she picked up and the two become invisible.
Also, Candy is so shocked she loses the camera.
The two are unable to turn back and must go to school while still invisible.

21: Miyuki and the others only need one more Cure Decor to revive the queen of Märchenland.
Pop arrives and they write a Tanabata wish for the queen to be revived and Märchenland to be saved.
Meanwhile, the revival of the emperor Pierrot approaches in the Bad End kingdom.

22: Miyuki and the others are in shock as Joker steals the 16th Decor and kidnaps Candy.
To save her, they must go to the Bad End Kingdom.
Miyuki and the others first head to Märchenland under the guidance of Pop.

So all those decors might have been just for merchandise and may not actually be used.

Is it true that stealth marketing is a thing in 2ch and 2chan? I've heard a lot of rumors of various companies doing it. Is it also true that anime and "otaku culture" has become, for the lack of a better word, maimstream, basically becoming the our equivalent of "I play CoD and Farmville I'm such a nerd XD" and that many companies are abusing this fact and streamlining them and making then "normalfag" desirable just to get better sales of merchandise, ratings, etc.

How much of these things you believe true, /a/? What do you think of this situation?
