http://archive.easymodo.net/a/thread/52271649You stare at the doors, torn with indecision. You fight to suppress the urge to simply throw open the damn things now and just charge in. You're confident enough of your own skills. but the hundreds of Rakshasa within are just too many for a direct assault to be a realistic option. Besides that, there's still that monster that tried to get into your head, and whatever that bizzare being that examined you earlier is.
But even so, your eyes are drawn to the depictions of human sacrifice. A particularly gruesome one, depicting the splitting of a man into a dozen pieces thtrough the use of some bizzare, bladed object.
The idea of Miki or Bro being dragged into position, and then THAT happening to them... It's all but enough to send you barreling through the doors.
Even Cala appears more nervous than normal, rechecking her weapons with swift, precise movements. In comparison to the two of you, Cala seems more thoughtful than anything else, perhaps because she has no personal stake in the happenings on the other side of the door.
You wrack your mind for a course of action, and find yourself drawing a blank. There may be another entrance where you could enter the hall unoticed, but if so, you have no idea where it is.
It is Amandral who finally breaks the tense silence.
'I wasn't sure before,' She turns to inspect the walls, 'But this place is very similiar in design layout to another temple of the Rakshasa that I inspected one time.'
'Can that help us?' You don't particularly feel in the mood for any long explanantions. While for now the sacrifices seem to be merely being held, that could change at any point.
