There was an OP and ED.

- Amata blaming Kagura for killing their parents
- We see him imagining a Christmas Eve scene with the whole family and Kagura setting the house on fire
- He gets maximum mad, emitting a dark aura and having glowing eyes, and "gattai"'ing into a half Aquarion (head + bust + arms)
- This to the point even Kagura is impressed, calling him a death god.
- Amata beats the shit out of Kagura's Vector Machine
- Kagura gets angry and says that whatever Amata can do he can do it too, that he can also gattai into a half Aquarion by himself.
- He does, transforming into an upper-half Aquarion too.
- They continue to fight, then CROSS COUNTER
> Meanwhile Mykage makes Altair move towards Vega.
- View switches to Gepard and MIXY's fight
- Andy gets off Gepard and finally makes MIX remember everything
- He (MIX) falls in Andy's arms.
- MIX rejects him, telling him not to look at him because he's not a girl anymore
> Andy says he doesn't care if he's a boy or a girl, he only cares about the being that's called MIX
> Andy proceeds to ask MIX if he wants to gattai with him.
> He agrees
> They go together back in Andy's vector, ready to gattai
> As they're about to scream the magic gattai lines, SURPRISE ELEMENT CHANGE with Yunoha
- Everyone on /a/ laugh their asses off
- Yunoha: "I'm sorry for intruding!"
- They get thrown back to the commanding room, Sazanka likes it, of course

I've been showing my dad Cowboy Bebop, and he's really been enjoying it. But then we get to Ballad of Fallen Angels, and he just can't get over that they don't show specifically how Spike survives the fall at the end. No amount of explaining will make him understand that how Spike survived the fall is not really important and not tough to imagine, and it's killing the episode for him.

Evening, /a/. The true /a/, I mean. Daytime /a/ is for bleach threads and underage narutards now, just like the rest of the anime websites on the internet.

/a/, I'm glad that you're still here. Though some of us may not realize it, we are really the only part of 4chan that still is 4chan at heart. /b/ died after /b/day, the other boards have been filled with the cancer as well. Although the gaiafags are plentiful, the real "trendy highschool students" that plague the rest of the site are absent here for the most part since they view anime as "geeky" Thank God.

Does anybody still remember, when /b/ used to be Anime/Random? Does anybody still remember when the entire site was just a weaboo shootoff of 2ch and SA? Almost every single long time 4channer I have spoken to has settled here in /a/, saying it resembles the original site the most.

What I'm trying to get to, /a/, is thank you for keeping the traditions alive, somewhat. Our memes are of the same level of sophistocation as some of the classics (FORCED MEMES AND KoG DOES NOT COUNT.) Please, please, don't lose yourselves. Try and keep the flame burning a little longer, my friends.

Moetan is fucking awesome. You want anime to be all serious and shit? Fuck that. You take just about any serious subject and put it in anime form, it is fucking stupid. Moetan doesn't have to pretend to be serious. The whole anime is a total hyperbole of ridiculousness. The only "srs bsns" anime I actually enjoyed that much was Higurashi, and some of the "over the top" stuff made it a little less enjoyable.

Moetan takes it way over the top and doesn't pretend otherwise. It doesn't pretend to have a serious plot. It doesn't have to pretend to be anything, you simply take it for what it is, fucking silly. When anime tries to be all serious and shit, it totally fails. It is not possible for anime to be serious. You are watching a cartoon.

One of the best assets that anime has is the ability to push limits, the ability to violate taboos and social more. When it does this, it becomes something awesome. When it tries to be normal, it is hard to enjoy. Regardless of how retarded it is to get excited in your giggly schoolgirl type of way when the OP comes on and goes "WITH A MAGICAL CHANGE, ABC!" and spews loli fanservice everywhere, this and other silliness is what anime is all about.

tl:dr when anime tries to be serious, it sucks ass. Anime should be edgy and push limits. If it doesn't, other forms of media are better content containers.
