And there's a perfectly good reason if someone can see it as a reward. It will not be an illogical conclusion because so many things happened besides trying to get with Belldandy. And not to mention all the goddesses, though they kept him in the dark, actually liked him and Belldandy already does everything with him besides sex and telling him he can't feel lust for her.
In the end it's K1's evaluation to make. But nowhere is this outrage and groupthink that "it was hell for MC" anything but just that, Opinions. I, for instance, would sign up for it in a heartbeat even if no one tells me about the hidden rule. Because there is simply so much more to it than playing house with a goddess.
