I am perfectly aware that GL has it's serious and dramatic moments. I am perfectly aware GL is a mature show at times and has some undertones and meanings that could be viewed as entertaining by any audience.

But the problem is almost all of that comes AFTER episode 8. I'm sure ADV would have liked to market it off as an epic space oprea (to attract any Gundam fans in America) but the problem is that when the first 3-4 episodes on the DVD are about some guy named Kamina and his little brother Simon doing all this crazy shit then your audience is just going to be going "What the hell?".

Aside from that. lol Gurrin Loggin.
