Diarmuid was a happy husband with a beautiful wife and father of 5 kids.
The only tragedy Diarmuid ever suffered in his life was that after many years had gone by since he had married Grainne and had several kids with her, he stupidly thought Fionn had forgiven him and like the idiot he is, goes on an ill-fated boar hunt with his former lord and gets himself killed.
Compared to other Irish heroes, Diarmuid had the least tragic life out of all of them and in fact, you could say he lived a happy, fulfilled life devoid of any nasty drama and angst that affects other Irish heroes.
Diarmuid was also as normalfag as you can get.
A simple dwelling in the countryside surrounded by a white picket fence. A beautiful wife. 5 loving kids. Years of peace to raise your children in harmony. Etc.
Seriously, you should go get your brain checked because Diarmuid's life is anything but tragic.
