I've never posted here before, but I do visit occasionally since I'm a /v/irgin and many of us over at /v/ have a good relationship with Japanese games and other forms of media. I'm somewhat of a casual when it comes to anime, mostly just taking recommendations from friends. I came across Code Geass on TV late one night and it piqued my interest. I proceeded to watch it in its entirety during the time R2 was airing. I absolutely loved it, it was fucking incredible.
Now I'll get to the issue:
I can't enjoy anime anymore because everything I watch makes me think of Code Geass and how much more enjoyable it was. Post-Geass I've watched Darker Than Black, Baccano, Eden of the East, and a few episodes of others here and there. None of them were that great, and I have a feeling nothing will ever live up to my past experiences.
Am I doing something wrong? I don't know who to ask other than you.
