Rin is all fucking bark. No bite. She had all the promises, but can't fucking deliver.

All her fights in the visual novel were the same. She gets to ALMOST succeed and gets her shit slapped without accomplishing anything. She gets saved every fucking time she pulls this bullshit.

Even from Shinji. FUCKING SHINJI. Did Sakura need to be rescued from his rape attempt? NO. She tries but fails. I give her props for trying.

Sakura looks like the damsel, but in the end, she fucks everyone shit when she wants to. Rin is her opposite. She's all show, no deeds in action.

You expect Sakura to be the healer, but that's actually Rin. Sakura's the nuke you drop to fuck up the bad guys when she snaps. That's why Gen fucking loves this bitch. She doesn't threaten or needs to posture like Rin does. She goes and fucks them up.

Rin's the definition of a fake action girl. Only good to fight mooks, gets rescued for everyone else. Sakura is a dark action girl when she stops pretending to be a Yamato Nadeshiko.

I was so disappointed in Rin. I hated Sakura's design and voice, loved Rin's, but Rin's all appearance, no depth, no true badass.

Since I really enjoyed reading this thread and I'm envying the fucking shit out of this Karasawafag, I decided to make a compilation of his posts.

I don't have an account there so I'm not sure if it'll be deleted since I was practically almost forced to make one after uploading it, but every other site I tried resizes the image to the point of the text becoming unreadable.

Anyhow, let us not forget there is still at least 1% of good women still out there (even that may be pushing it) who could be worth going for, and perhaps they fit other glorious anime archetypes as well. I wanted to make this as a reminder that real great love stories are still being told to this day even though only the fewest of people may be so blessed as to experience them. Also I'm a scrub with paint so feel free to improve on it, it's not exactly ordered in the best storytelling format either, just the order he posted in.
