I just started Aquarion and on episode 8 and this slut. I really fucking hate Mikono. My god, I hated her from the very first episode with her "I'm useless, I can't pilot shit, let's leave Amata-kun" and thought, well maybe she gets better but she fucking didn't.
Then there's this Red-kun who called her wench and stinky slut and rather be disgusted, she fucking liked it.
There's also that scene in episode 7 where she got angry with Amata when she misunderstands Zessica with him while just a minute ago. She says she can't forget Red-kun. Hypocrite, bitches and whores etc.
I'm not even much of a Zessicafag though I think she's great but I just want her to die in a fire and be replaced by someone as the heroine. Heck even Mix would do.
Many Muslims believe that the portrayal of a human figure in art is considered Idolatry and thus a sin against God, so that certainly rules anime out, I would imagine, and Islamic art has more or less excluded human depictions (although there are, of course, exceptions and even pictures depicting Mohammed in history).
Anyone who is not a Muslim is of course free to post, and say what their religion says about anime.
Catholic here, I don't think the Church as a whole even knows what anime is, much less have a coherent policy about it.

Granted, I've only been on /a/ since 2010, but it seems like people are complaining all the time about how BAD /a/ currently is compared to the past. /a/ seems to be pretty much the same now as it was in 2010, so was it that much different before then? I've seen some screencaps of previous threads all the way back to 2006, and I'm not seeing much difference other than the fact that /a/ is faster now.
