She turns back to you and she looks like she's conflicted between anger and sadness. "You don't know, Anon-kun. You don't know anything about this!"
"Maybe not," you agree, "But I'm going to be fixing that in the coming days, Roslyn. I'm involved, whether you like it or not, and I'm going to do what I can to help. Whether you like it or not."
She takes her hand out of your grip and walks out of the house, and Tadashi comes up to you. "She likes you," he whispers. "I'm kind of surprised. She never warms up to guys." He pats you on the shoulder and gives you a squeeze. "I'll take care of it from here, man. Don't worry, I'm not going to let that shit catch me unawares again."
"Yeah.. Thanks."
Tadashi heads out after Roslyn, and he casts you guys a friendly wave before leaving.
You see Chiyo is now standing up and looking over Sayuri. "We need to get her home," she says. "That or somewhere where she can stay for the night."
You nod. "Can I ask you to do that for me, Chiyo-chan? I don't know where she lives... and I don't want to put anyone else in danger, since that guy knows what I look like."
She nods. "I can, no problem." She kisses you on the forehead and picks up Sayuri. "Get some rest," she says before heading to the door. "I love you, Anon-kun." And she leaves.
You sit back down on the couch and close your eyes. You're too tired and in too much pain to bother to get up and cook. You close your eyes, and you hear the engines of multiple cars, and the sounds lull you to sleep.
