>>62228229I lever myself up on the bed to look out the unobstructed window. What assails my eyes is quite the view. Not the ocean, but actually some sort of complex under said ocean. Something out of a science fiction story. It's like a small city of capsules, modules (one the size of a small nature reserve) all just under the surface of the water within the photic zone.
I find myself lost for words, but I do manage to scrounge up something, “Well. That's neat.”
The old man pauses in his rampage and looks right at me, “Well. That's neat?”
“Yeah, I guess it is. Haven't seen something like that before.”
“That's it? Your new school is mostly under the ocean”
“Well...”
“Facility offices are in that one old building, the rest of the school you can't see and your own room are within the hollowed out remains of an old volcano!”
“It's just that-”
“Look, we've got a segway into the intro from here, you think we can just do that with a mundane and boring response like that? No 'WHAAAAAAT', or 'EEEEEEHHHHH'?”
“Oh, sorry. Is it too late now?”
“Just hurry up before it-”
