Why dont they make masterpieces like this anymore? I dont think theres anything even closely resembling NHK out there. (No I dont think Genshiken counts, its just about nerds doing nerd things)

Also the soundtrack was golden! I usually find many serious animes have an awesome OST, but the story and characters are just lame as fuck.
While NHK was a perfect package of pretty much all emotions combined with great characters and like I said awesome music!
Although I have to say I wish they had shown drug use in the anime, like in the novel, but coming from such an anti-drug country as Japan I guess thats understandable. They did kinda show it, but it was masked as psychocis or some shit.
