Hey /a/, random anime watcher from /b/ here, I have been coming here more and more often.

Today I have come to tell a little thing that I noticed that involved Clannad, and Ef A tale of memories.
All throughout clannad, there is the little parts of the girl in the other world, with only her left after the world ended. Then Nagisa did a play about it.

Then, in episode 4 of Ef, Chihiro admits that the story she wants to write about is a girl that is all alone in a world that has ended.

So my question is, is this a common thing in Japanese culture?
