I'm sorry, but this has gotta be the worst anime ever. I was patient with it, and I watched all 22 or 24 episodes (or however many there were), but after all was said and done, the first thing that came to mind was, "WTF did I just watch?!" I guess you can give the anime creators for not being so "predictable" by having Taiga and Ryuuji finally pair up, but it still doesn't excuse the ridiculous pairing. They're constantly getting into all sorts of fights and arguments, but then in the last 1/3rd or so of the series, they "become close", so close that they even at one point think they should run away forever?
No, thanks... Totally absurd. She treated Ryuuji like crap, but he just kept taking it and taking it. He was her fucking bitch, and it took her FOREVER to come around. He rarely stood up to her, even after getting kicked around for the 1,000th time. Why she was never arrested on assault charges I'll never know... If anyone had done that to me even a few times, I'd have them locked up at least for a few years. I wouldn't put up with that crap.
The other thing that's just IRRITATING is how she's only 'friends' with Ryuuji because he'll help her get closer to the vice president of the student council (the dude with the glasses), but the guy's really not much diff. from Ryuuji. What's so "special" about him? He's a total dork and the best friend of Ryuuji. But she's HEAD OVER HEELS for this dipshit? WTFF? Gimme a break...
And no, don't give me the same bullshit replies about how I'm "ignorant" and whining and shit. I gave all my patience to this show and kept asking myself, "Is this REALLY the best it could be?", but I just couldn't further justify much of any of the plot after a while. I had to conclude that it's a steaming pile of CRAP. No one in their right mind outside of the goofy anime world would EVER be with Taiga... unless they were tsundere themselves.
Let's stop with the semantic nonsense. It's "phony-ass bitch who pretends to be nice sometimes", not "tsundere." That's just Japanese for "phony bitch", if you ask me. And what's this silly phrase, "You're just jelly that I'm tsundere"?? Who's JEALOUS of a stupid bitch? The vast majority of humanity would NEVER associate with people like that, but they're somehow GREAT characters in the otaku world? Should we really be putting selfish brats like this on a pedestal?
