What do you buy when you go to the grocery store, /a/?

Is this even worth finishing? It hook me right from the start but after episode 10 it has become really dull, I also can't stand the whole Momoka was my BFF bullshit, they don't have to remind me every 5 minutes.
I'm on episode 17 by the way.

Haven't seen anime or read manga since late 2008

What have I missed?

A force pushes you toward the door. Fresh air, yes, that's what you need. A deep sigh and you pull yourself up from the couch. You walk forward at a brisk pace with an arm extended outward to take hold of the door knob. You twist it with a quick motion of the hand and then a slight push. The door opens up without difficulty, but what lies behind it isn't what you expect. The church, it's ringing bell, the the all too familiar of the ocean nearby. "I'm.. here again?" you continue on your walk, opening up the doubled-doors of the church.

"Weak. Weak. Weak." a voice calls out from the darkness in the sky. You put a glance into the air, seeing nothing.

"Hey, who are you?" you look to the right and left. No response.

"Weak. Weak. Weak." the voice sounds again. You focus in on the sound, the origin, but you can't place it. It seems to be surrounding you.

"Who are you?" you ask the same question again.

Ding...Ding...Ding...

The bell rings, causing you to hold your ears in pain. "Dammit, that bell." you shake your head, taking in a deep breath to regain your composure.

Ding...Ding...Ding...

"You continue to fight against an inevitable fate. Why?"

"Why...?" you place a hand to your chin, closing your eyes to come up with an answer.

Only 2 episodes and I'm liking this a lot. It looks like it will be good if they give it at least two cours for developing the characters and the plot. And the MC (and Lan) are pretty likable.
