Hello /a/. I come to you with a question, but first a bit of back-story.
When I was a young teen, I found enjoyment in watching anime as a way of taking my mind off the harsh reality that I was an unpopular loner. As I matured and learned how to get real friends, I started narrowing down the amount of series that I would bother watching, mainly due to the clichés such as overly obvious sexual themes, the weak little girl characters constantly being saved, the 'dark villain boy' who's good inside, all those recurring themes.
However, a few such as Kino's Journey, Haibane Renmei and Ga Rei Zero stood out to me, and I find myself watching them now and then and they find themselves as a stable part of my media library. Recently though, I re-read The Lord of the Rings trilogy, and was once again amazed by the vast universe that Tolkien created. I went through some movies and some games to please my need for more well-structured fantasy, and I'm now finding myself lacking a proper fantasy based anime with an astounding universe, non-cliché characters, and a somewhat original story.
The question in question is now; do any of you, because I know there will be some anime gurus reading this post, know a series that would end my search for such a series?
So yeah was watching Clannad and suddenly this question popped up to mind. Which series has the best harem? Come on /a/ I know there are some Harems you've wished to have for yourself :)
