I just finished watching Gurren Lagann over the past two days. I'm completely depressed with the ending. I watched it in Japanese and I didn't understand 100% of it, but that's not why I'm depressed.

I'm completely anti-emo, but the lack of detail in history combined with the potential in these characters is absolutely mind-fucking. Yoko in particular.

I completely missed the talks about Gurren Lagann a few months back, and I don't visit the /a/ board often, so I don't know how people actually feel about it. I can understand those who wouldn't like it because of the way it doesn't take itself seriously, but is there anything out there (does anyone know), more? Is there some source of cool info on G.L.? Concept art, future plans, anything?
