Why, Austin? Why do you continue to post this stuff every thread? It’s quite easy to say “no,” and not decide to try and ruin another thread. Every time you post, even if you are “shitposting” (which I believe to be an overused and misunderstood buzzword), or even trolling, I always answer you in good faith. Who were the weakest if those were the strongest? No, they held off the weakest. Goku invited them, not because they were strong, but because it was a tournament and they are tournament experts. Keep in mind that Goku only had Toppo and the Trios de Dangers as a guideline (all whom are at least SSG tier) and he still had faith in Roshi and co. So I disagree with the idea that this places the other fighters at Roshi's powerlevel. What we know for sure us that they were below his skill level. Hell, Jiren was technically below Jiren's skill level too. That's why we got Roshi's faux UI scene, after all.

What do you base that on? Nobody mentioned that even once. And the fighters of whom we do have their backstories weren't mutants or magical beings so there is no basis for that assertion.

Luckily Cell ditches it immediately after killing Trunks, so it's not like he ever did much damage to it, but without Trunks, there's no one left to stand up to Boo. Whether Boo would have even been awakened without strong warriors is another question, but Super seems to imply that Babidi and Dabra could have pulled it off even with just Trunks, Kaioshin, and Kibito.
