So for clarity, you do not have to verify your email address if you don't want to. If you are a new user, you can instead simply wait 15 minutes before posting. Lurk a thread, browse the site, or just come back later. After the wait, you can post threads and replies as normal. If you've been a user of 4chan for more than 15 minutes, the process should be seamless for you. If you are a new 4chan user, then verifying your email address bypasses the wait.
You will need to accept 4chan cookies for any of these methods to work.
