Denji was reattached only a few hours ago likely just a day ago so in a few hours Denji has
>lost his home and pets
>had a mental breakdown around bad influences(Katana man)
>learned his little sister was killed by way of sushi conveyer
>likely ate pieces of his sister through sushi
>turned in Pochita so went into utter despair
>threw into a literal different world/realm
>confused because he still doesn’t know about Yoru
>had to eat human intestines to fight a primal devil
>threw up
>speaking of throwing up, literally threw up his trauma and reminded of his old family(that was killed in-front of him) and ex(Reze) who “ghosted” him or in other words killed
>had too sit in a cafe with a guy he “hates”(seemingly), together with 2 other women that fucked him over
>found out that the girl he likes has a devil that acts as another “personality”(not really just a condensed version and what Denji seemed to take out of it) making him question every interaction he’s had with her
>had to deal with Yoru yanking him around, killing random people, and being a literal psycho
>currently being manipulated and used at his absolute most vulnerable moment(in part 2)
>still probably can’t tell the difference between Asa and Yoru

And people are wondering why he’s not fighting back, in classic Denji coping mechanism he has regressed back into simply relying on his instincts and simplest needs, only relying on the ONLY person(s) who seems to like him and is shutting down. This is the lowest we’ve ever seen Denji since the Power talk, he has no more fight left in him.
nuPower and Nayuta coming back is the motivation Denji needs to fight back because right now he has no reason to and he won't fight for himself, this being shown by how he is ok with being killed (weaponized).
