Laios and his crew are dungeon crawling full time and don't know how long it'll be before they can return to the surface. Meaning they've gotta stock up on as much monster dicks as possible for who knows when or where they'll get their next supper? Meanwhile Frieren is most likely to come across some settlement at one point or another so they can afford to travel with a comparatively light load. Hope my autistic post helped to waste your time.
