>>263832998I remember seeing it for the first time at one of my grandparents houses on Nicktoons right when they were first airing Kai. Compared to the usual Spongebob and Jimmy Neutron reruns it was so unique. After the first few episodes with Raditz I got hooked and watched it whenever it was on. I also have fond memories of the movies, especially the Bardock one, had a huge crush on Fasha alongside Bulma after watching it.
Eventually for whatever reason I grew out of the series and went on an ant-anime phase, then about 6 years ago I rediscovered my love of anime and I haven’t looked back since. Without Dragon Ball I probably wouldn’t have gotten into anime and nor would I be applying to uni in Japan right now. RIP Toriyama, I will always look back fondly on his creation and the good times it gave me.
