If one of them were to transfer to a general ed high school or just decide that they want to major in STEM after graduating, they would keep hanging out. They're a yuri couple who happen to be professional rivals. With Maya and Claudine, their rivalry and tension is integral to their relationship, and with their feelings towards one another. I'm sure they can talk about other stuff, but I just can't imagine them being together without the theatre stuff. They're colleagues and rivals who are also pretty gay.
