>Start with Kid Buu>Kid Buu absorbs South Supreme Kai, becoming Buff Buu>Buff Buu then absorbs Grand Supreme Kai, becoming Fat Buu; Grand Supreme Kai's pure goodness pacifies Buu (kind of)>Millions of years later, Fat Buu expels his evil side; from this point on, he's basically "Grand Supreme Kai" again, just reincarnated into a different form (based on Goten, Trunks, Piccolo, and Gohan being the only absorbed bodies in Buu, the implication is that South/Grand Supreme Kais basically got permanently melded into Buu, a la Nail and Kami to Piccolo)>Evil Buu eats (absorbs) "Grand Supreme Kai", which now results in a visual form clearly much closer to the original Kid Buu (albiet taller and more muscular), and gives Evil Buu dominance of the physical body; this sets up the events that allows Kid Buu to reform again, via going inside Buu and physically severing "Grand Supreme Kai" from his body, which is also why Evil/Skinny Buu wasn't the end result (because the evil side now has the physical body instead of just being purely expelled, physical embodiment of evil)Basically, a really specific chain of events allowed Kid Buu to come back to existence
