How can you trust a random slave you just bought any more than any other random person. Even if you can magically compel them to do your bidding, there's no guarantee they won't find a way to fuck you over on some technicality. They also might be able to manipulate you since they know more about the world than you do, and can easily trick you. Even if you order them not to lie, there are ways of tricking and manipulating people without actually lying. Pic related.
