Getting to see it potentially build up to that point but starting with way more toned down "Red flag" behavior would have been great for a long running series. This ending would have been a lot more sweet and heartwarming if it came after 100 chapters of "Will she or wont she" yandere shenanigans with it's own peaks and lows.Agreed
