The entire thing is filled to the brim with lessons and lore and the rabbit hole goes deeper and deeper the more you research it. No other story in the entire industry can compete with Madoka in my opinion. The stuff SHAFT did with the music alone in Madoka in combination with foreshadowing and story telling is unheard of even in non anime works. I’ve yet to watch anything even come close to it.

It would be very hard to accomplish anything very thing that was accomplished in Madoka in the span of 12 episodes for any studio out there. It’s one of the tightest and most enjoyable experiences imaginable and even the moments that seem like filler at first glance end up being essential to the story later on leaving almost not a single moment wasted.
>art is better The art in ping pong looks like a 7th grader drew it. This Inu Curry art is actual art and the duo is the only pair in the entire anime industry to have names for themselves in the art world outside of anime.
