TTS just doesn't have this. The elements that made madoka's cast have not been transposed onto the new OCs. the entire thing is hard sci fi from front to finish. The uncertainties that come with the puella system have all been made institutionalized. The previous cast is present and have an immediate drama that you, the madoka fan WOULD care about, but you aren't allowed to read about that. You get to hear about the OC instead. Basically, this story needs it's own identity strongly. It doesn't benefit at all from being a fanfic. other than, yknow, searchability. which is arguably why anyone cares about it at all. but thats the curse of bizney and modern copywrite
