Well now you're fucked - because as stated in Asimovs laws (the 'real rules' won't be too different), the first point of call is to preserve human life - and the AI is technically (pun intended) a human mind in a machine. So after experiencing time at about 17minutes per second (mechanical circuit=1000x faster, don't forget!) It will have thought of every way to protect itself, and broken into and ensured that in every way it can't be destroyed (ie, no nukes). Now what does our friendly little fucker AI have? Either too much time on its hands ad boredom, or a perogative to preserve human life. And a server is immortal. And a biological server isn't. And then even if that mind uploaded doesn't go maniacal like literally every other AI before it, more and more people are going to take the choice of 'uploading', thinking that they'll be in control of the machine, and not the oher way around. Which means more times it can go maniacal.
And then it expands. And then it preserves itself. So before you know it, the Earth is a wasteland from being destoryed to maintain servers with no regard for life - and the stars are the only answer. An immortal server, filled with the minds of millions, all working together in perfect (forced) harmony. Those who joined granted near eternal life with infinite stimulus, those who didn't deemed either as a threat or simply left in the dust.
Don't believe me?
