It doesn't require you to have an elemental affinity like every other clan. It makes it completely accessible to every Hyuga from their moment of birth but with the added security of requiring a Byakugan to be effective.
The entire fighting style has various ranges and as much as people like to shit-post, Air Palm and it's variants have shown great range.
You use Gentle Fist for motherfuckers who get close, shitting on their chakra points and musculature.
Body Blow for grapplin motherfuckers who think it's smart to get in close to people who can shit out Chakra from more than just the hands.
Rotation for when you need to either defend or push people out of melee range for whatever reason.
Air Palm for long range motherfuckers and then Air Palm Wall for when you wanna hit a ton of motherfuckers in a row.
If you are skilled enough then Gentle Step: Twin Lion Fists provides three separate but great abilities.
Attack Range up which helps connect Tenketsu Strikes.
Attack Damage up for when "Fuck you, that's who works here" applies.
And Chakra Drain because not just sealing your opponent's Chakra is enough, you can steal it too and go full Energizer Bunny on their asses.
The Hyuga are honestly one of the only clans outside of the Aburame to be smart enough to lock the full potential of their abilities through something physical.
Any faggot can spit a fireball but to actually use the Gentle Fist properly you still need the eyes.
