Sometimes it writes itself when they've had little interaction you can create your headcanon about the relationship of two characters that shouldn't even meet at all because you have elements of their personality and how they react to the actions of people around them and you know how the two of them would interact with each other, or two characters that meet all the time but have no chemistry at all and still works, but not with Hibiki and Lala, this is why Mirei was the one speaking in Lala's place during S2, because she was mature enough to speak on par with Hibiki who acts as a man and represents an authoritarian figure, and this is why Mirei x Hibiki makes more sense, Lala having sex with a faceless fat bald old man makes more sense because you can infer how Lala will react, but not with Hibiki, drawing Hibiki having sex with a childish and comical character like Lala is almost like raping a child.
This is wrong in so many levels.
