>>186338934I kinda agree. I think a lot of people still look at MHA with Rose Coloured Glasses. Has it gone off the cliff yet, absolutely not, but has it lost direction and is slowly going downhill.... unfortunately yes. Let me give some examples:
-The students got their provisional licenses to fight villains legally right..... well let me point this out, we had more villain stuff prior to the license arc
-The LoV showed up much more pre-Kamino than after.
-There has been a lot of wasted time. Horikoshi does best with shorter arcs, its just his style. The Yakuza Arc spanned 40+ chapters, but not much has come of it. The CF Arc was 15 chapters and should have been kept to less than 10, which it would have if not for the introduction of a new villain which was not needed. Then the Class A vs B Arc, the chapters were short which meant a lot of wasted weeks. This arc had as many chapters as the fucking Sports Festival Arc.... this arc was shit compared to it. Hell even comparing it to the Final Exams Arc, which was more similar, shows how lackluster this arc has been. There were way too many characters in this arc, almost half of which were introductions.... Class A wasn't even fully introduced until the Final Exams Arc
-He has a problem with not showing and only just telling. Endeavor mentions the crime rate has gone up, that more people are panicking.... this makes sense considering the Symbol of Peace is gone, but the problem is we never saw this because the Overhaul Arc was one incident and other than that, there has been no other internships
