In battle shounen, like I said, those tend to be happen at a climatic moments, and things have to be good during climatic moments. Snk had amazing sakuga eps and godlike transformation scenes too, but they choose the climatic moments for that.
Zetman is a Seinen and X'amd is an orginal but go check the episode of their first transformation scenes, it's godlike. And they also happen to be improtant episodes. Most Naruto transformations happened during important episodes, that's why those episodes were well animated. But shit like Nibi weren't important and thus were shit despite being transformation related.

That arc started with Vanessa going in there to help Asta, to expose stuffs about her past and to start her character arc. So its proper resolution and high point had for all intent and purpose to be about Vanessa.
Asta vs Ladros didn't resolve their problem, Vanessa's cat did.
Asta vs Ladros didn't finish Vanessa's character arc, Vanessa's cat did.
Asta vs Ladros only resolved half of the problem which was the diamond people's issues.
