>>210838457>>210838390I'd do it in a way that intercuts actions of gun devil shooting shit and the bullets being hit, with overlays of names, completely filling the whole screen for a split second after each cut, starting with a modest number when you can just about read every name on the screen for a split second to register that they're people's names
inbetween each cut, intercut that overlay, and for every successive cuts, "pull back" the list of names so that even though they still cover the entire screen, they keep zooming out as the text size grows smaller, and you keep doing this in a relatively quick segment where it keeps cutting back and forth from shots of Gun Devil and whatever it shoots hitting the populace/wreckage. And at this point, the interval between each cut grows shorter as the names piles up. also put in the "timestamps" as the manga has inbetween some cuts to serve as benchmarks so that the audience can keep track of how little time has actually passed despite the frantic back and forth cuts, since this all takes place in a matter of seconds.
keep going until it cuts to a hard black screen, before fading into the shot of "the gun devil stopped moving", and the as it cuts to Makima, it can go on in a more conventional manner.
If I were to do it, I'd keep all narration of this particular scene strictly to text form, since I feel an actual Narrator reading out the report would feel too non-diagetic.
