Like, everyone posts because they want a reply, and apparently that's bad because it's "bait", so you don't give it to them, and when you're mad at someone, you talk *at* them but don't quote, because supposedly what the other wants is not a reply in itself but the quote so that they'll see the word (You) in the post? So then these people complain that others ruining the site by "baiting for (You)s" when in reality it's themselves who treat replies as a form of currency that they should only give to posts they approve of, like an upvote. So then basically nobody talks to each other. And then when someone actually responds to someone else, another is like "stop talking to yourself!", like nobody would possibly want to actually talk to people on the internet. And then someone posts anything somewhat witty or funny or maybe some OC, and everyone is like "wow, stop trying to get attention!", like trying to get a chuckle out of people is something bad. Back in my day we were basically all attempted comedians trying to make each other laugh, it was the whole point, you came to be amused and to amuse in return, while talking about topics you liked. It's all so dumb, I just wanna come here and talk to people about little girl cartoons and make silly posts about them but there's all these people being downers and trying to stop everyone else from posting. Sorry for the rant.
