I really liked Manatsu and Laura's dynamic and relationship (not in the romantic sense), but Laura was also the main problem, as she hogs the spotlight too much during the season in detriment of the rest:
- Manatsu got enough development, but that's to be expected as the "leader" Cure.
- Sango had maybe 2 or 3 episodes about her, the one about the actress and the one about the fashion show.
- Minori... I think they did her well.
- Asuka doesn't have any development of her own, as all her episodes revolve around her clashes with Yuriko. Hell, she's a "sporty cure" yet we never saw her train or practice any sport until her match against Yuriko.
I liked the villain trio, but they were too passive (it fits their theme, though). At least Elda had a few moments to bond with Manatsu, even if indirectly.
Kururun was probably one of the best Precure pets/fairies just by being cute without getting obnoxious and thanks to the show not shoving it in our faces by making it the finisher attack's trigger or something
