Simply by the oldest generations dying out eventually.
Imagine that by 2030 (provided the site, or even internet, is still around) there's barely anyone left who frequented this site before 2016. The fucking tourists will be the ones who actively remember how the site "used to be". When they are called oldfags, who will say otherwise? People are calling movies from my teenage years "classics", and it's kinda uncomfortable, but it's the same process.
4chan is almost 20 years old, that's pretty much an entire generation. It's been around for so long, and changed so much, that this elitism dilutes into pointlessness, so I gave it up.
We're not getting back what's lost anyway.
Still, fuck the election tourists, I will definitely make a cut there.
In another 10 years I might think differently, if I'm still around, but eh.
I'm overthinking this. Might be the sleeping pills.
