>>235103573No need for anything special, literally just HAVE THEM be that strong with on / offscreen training, enough to be relevant.
Which kinda happened.
As the episodes go, somehow the humans surpass Raditz who could kill both Goku & Piccolo (at a level unthinkable to them, it's the protagonist and main villain from the OG dragon ball), then they also surpass Nappa and Vegeta who were easily killing them before, then the Ginyu Force comprised of the strongest warriors of the universe (fuck DBS) and with the 3 years training for the androids, it's 99% confirmed they surpassed Mecha Frieza despite what Senileyama might say in DBS, he barely remembers his own characters and transformations.
It was 3 years, preparing specifically for the androids, a big preptime to not die like their uninformed counterparts from the future. Then Piccolo tells them not to come if they don't feel prepared, which is why Chiaotzu is left behind, meaning Tien, Krillin and Yamcha thought they'd be of use against enemies who can kill Frieza with a finger (and Krillin KNOWS damn well about Frieza's power, he faced him and got killed in Namek).
So like I typed, humans always kept up in powerlevels up to surpassing Namek Frieza and Namek Goku...
But at that point they just stop being relevant despite the gargantuan power ups they've gotten.
Even at that level, I'd make them relevant by having them fight mooks.
What about Androids 9 to 15? Those could have been fought by the humans and Piccolo.
Or while Vegeta battles 18, have the humans give 17 a good fight similar to vs Nappa, doing some damage with lucky shots and strategies since 17 is the kind to play around.
Then Babidi's minions could be fought by the humans too.
