At the point rimuru's GPT can channel natural forces like the sun there's nothing stopping him from just channeling an even bigger laser that ignore magic defenses to glass literally everything he wants, and mind you that's BEFORE becoming a demon lord.
So the end result is fuze having to come up with another reverse asspull to justify why he can't just bulldoze literally everything.
Then again at least fuze is not as bad as hackujin is, fuze only has this issue like three times and after that he stops giving a shit and just runs with it knowing rimuru's group will beat everything anyway, by the time diablo shows off in the tournament fuze is full blown "yep, this is op as fuck, i don't care" until he has to pull the 7 virtue skills to have a semblance of steaks later.
Meanwhile MT is in a constant state of MC is too strong, gotta nerf him > Now he's too fucking weak, gotta buff him > Now he's too fucking strong, gotta nerf him.
And you know what's funnier? Normal stories with status screens don't have this issue because the numbers prevent the powerlevels from derailing straight into planet busters like slime and MT did.
