>>270090621And like that, you demonstrate a very admirable quality. That of perserverance. To live is to struggle, and some people's decks are stacked in a worse manner than others, that is for sure.
But to retain the will to fight in spite of it all, even if it is solely because the part of you that refuses to die without becoming the man Homura knows you can be, means you have not truly lost.
There is still fight in you, just as there was fight in Homura as she futilely tried to save Madoka, over and over, timeline after timeline. Nevertheless, no matter what she found in her way, she kept going. You know this, better than I ever will, you know the enormity of what she did, and nevertheless you emulate her example.
Those aren't the deeds of a worthless man, those are the deeds of a diamond in the rough, if you ask me.
So put your faith on that part of you, the part of you that hasn't given up yet, if only because to do so would be to fail to live up to Homura's example.
You draw breath. That is enough, at least for now. Despite everything and everyone, despite all you endured, here you stand and here you remain, just as Homura did, throughout countless timelines of trying to save Madoka.
Take solance in that, and draw strength from it.
