Frankly, I think that Klein fusing with CW was always the end-game. It's the only way to really ensure that CW doesn't ruin fucking everything after Klein inevitably dies or succumbs to convergence.There's a lot of people in the official discord who are throwing a fit about it. I really just don't understand them. Did they really think that
Klein would wake up and solve all the plots problems? Because he absolutely could after truly ascending to LotM. The fact of the matter is that CW and GA have always been the biggest hurdle to the apocalypse.
Book 1 acknowledges this with Klein's famous line "I won't lose much, only myself"
Klein doesn't want to let CW loose, but between him and Amon (at that stage of the game), CW was the lesser of two evils.
Book 2 addresses the 'lesser of two evils' and tries to outright eliminate it. How the fuck anybody thought this wouldn't happen clearly needs to think a bit more about the media they consume.
