Though Kamen Rider was put on the freezer around the early 80s, came back with KR Black in the late 80s, then entered the freezer again while the "Metal Heroes" franchise was airing in its place, since the year 2000 KR has been a mainstay again with Super Sentai, and Precure joined the ranks in 2004, in that year the three pillars were formed (though Precure still had -some- risk of getting cancelled in its early days, Toei wasn't sure if it was going to be another short-lived experiment or a long franchise, by this point we already have the answer).
