We need to have a dedicated discussion about what the FUCK was up with Guel in Gundam: The Witch From Mercury. Considering he's not officially one of the protagonists he receives a fuckton of screentime. He even gets an episode all to himself with no Suletta or Miorine in sight; this episode comes in Season 2 when the focus really should have been tighter on both of them, especially Suletta who is really underdeveloped as a character.

What the hell was going on in that writer's room? It almost seems like there was a faction of the writers who wanted Guel to be the protagonist and they were in a tug of war with the other writers who wanted the focus on Suletta. Or at least on Miorine. As it stands by the time the show is over you're left feeling like Miorine and Guel are the real protagonists and Suletta has been cucked out of her own show.
