if you're actually that active it probably wouldn't take much to lose the weight. Most people just don't know how many calories they eat with each portion of each type of food. Get a scale (for food not for body weight) and count calories for like a week. You don't need to be crazy obsessive about it, but knowing what 100g of rice looks like and knowing that it's ~129 calories is useful. My default portion would have been 3x that before I decided to figure out what an actual reasonable portion should be. Try to keep your 3 meals around 500 calories each (give or take) and that will still give you some wiggle room for light snacks assuming a 2000cal daily intake. If you're very large or very active you can cheat the number up. Just remember that most people overestimate how much they're burning, and underestimate how much they're taking in.

If you drink alcohol or soda (or you are a fan of sugary starbucks drinks), try giving it up for just 1 month. It's easier to rack up calories through beverages than eating and for some people, that's all it takes.
