The only real problems I had was the ending, it felt rushed, but that’s what happens when you reshoot a lot of scenes because the screen tests came back terrible.

The Doctor Strange 2 movie kinda felt like Doctor Strange 2 + Wanda, but I liked the movie cause it’s doctor strange so weird shit happens.

Honestly, it didn’t really feel like the multiverse of madness, it felt more like touring the multiverse of madness.

And it wasn’t even strange touring the multiverse himself. It was some random nobody with multiverse powers that helped strange.
I wish strange actually found a way to multiverse hop.

The only reason why I remember her existing was because of that one border crossing joke.

I can make a lot of criticism about Multiverse of Madness but I still enjoyed it more than most of the garbage Marvel has released because it remembered capeshit is supposed to be dumb creative fun without being taika waititi annoying. Just doing horror shit is the most "daring" thing Marvel has done with these movies. It's wild that they let Gunn have his playground, it was a massive success, and then they just didn't do that with any other directors. Incapable of learning the lesson that they've largely already got assess in seats and should let the creatives actually be creative. The half of MoM that is Raimi is better than 90% of the directed by committee slop we usually get

I think the movie was okay. I liked it better than Iron Man 3. It was just frustrating since I like Anthony as Cap/Falcon and I thought Leader was good. I just think Cap deserves better than to have Hulk's sloppy seconds. And it's a damn shame it took almost 20 years for a follow up to Leader.

What's even the point of the top hole in falcon's original costume? Do black people just have to have a hole on top of their hemet/mask? I think I saw an awful miles design with the same thing. Now that I think about it, gambit is rocking the same setup, but at least he has some hair lengh
Fuck dude imagine if his costume had this cool fighter pilot helmet instead of the silly dome window it does have in reality. Some more focus on aerial combat in action scenes, and you could really give this guy an identity in a way he fights. Give him the jab too, so he can withstand all the extra G's.

It sounds like misery porn. In Joker 1 the main character has an absolutely miserable life. He's not even really that bad of a person he's legit mentally ill. They don't even really give him a good ending since he's locked up in an insane asylum:

But he's still able to give a genuine laugh and they play a nice Sinatra song so there is a bit of catharsis to his story.

With Joker 2 there is no catharsis. They give him a girlfriend just to take her away. They rape him. They kill his friend. The movie ends with him getting stabbed and bleeding out on the floor. It's like watching a crazy person get repeatedly kicked while he's down and there's no getting back up. Joker isn't some evil mastermind with political opinions doing stuff with malicious intent. He's just a mentally ill person and there is no fun to be had in seeing him suffer unless you're fucked in the head yourself and have convinced yourself he's a stand-in for the evil chuds you obsess over.

That's kind of their fault, though. They were getting good directors, they just fired them all after it got as big as it did because the execs were piss scared of fucking up their cash cow and decided to micro manage everything which ironically is what has destroyed their cash cow.

People liked that technology had advanced to a point that you could do superhero movies that looked how you always wanted to see them look and they were finally willing to let them be in a shared crossover universe and use people you would normally never see. Heck, the real thing that launched the whole thing was them taking a chance with Iron Man and letting him swear and reveal his secret identity to everyone. Turning it into the most sanitized, paint by the numbers franchise they could was always going to be their undoing.
