Anyone's who ever drawn anything in their lives knows that you press the paper down when you draw on it, either to hold it in place or because of the pencil you're drawing with. This doesn't cause any problems with a regular sheet of paper or even a sketchbook because they offer a flat surface to draw on, but a comic? As in a bunch of pages stapled together? You're going to end up with one bent and wrinkly comic by the time you've finished, especially if it's a kid drawing on it.
The whole thing just seems extremely impractical.
