What???
I don't get it. I really don't. Are you guys pretending to like this as some sort of joke?
I watched the whole thing thinking there would be some worthwhile twist... There's nothing. This is literally just a show for middle-schoolers and grown men with aspergers. There's no way this could be marketed to anyone over the age of 14 seriously.
>le smarmy sarcasm character with le smarmy sarcasm voice
>intentionally goofy and colorful setting
>le dark spoopy juxtaposition
>HECKING LORE OH MY GOD I HECKING LOVE LORE I NEED MORE HASTILY MADE FANSERVICE LORE TO LURE IN 13 YEAR OLD GIRLS AND AUTISTIC MEN AAAGHHH THERES SO MUCH HECKING LORE
>what a le WACKY band of characters (fan bait)!!!!!!
It's not even trying to parody itself or be on the nose about it. It's genuinely trying to be the way it is. Just "Ummm... Thhhhat happened!"-tier le wacky ADHD zoomie humor. It's not funny, it's not scary, it doesn't show any depth. I would have been less critical if it showed any self-awareness/maturity/depth, but instead I just wasted 25 minutes of my life watching something on the same level as Helluva Boss or My Little Pony.
THIS IS A CHILDREN'S SHOW. YOU ARE ALL GROWN MEN.
I genuinely can't tell whether this is trying to pander to underage fandom-ers or autistic people.
Undertale did this.
